Traditional learning methods often fail to keep students engaged, and finding specific, high-quality practice quizzes for niche topics is time-consuming. Students lacked a platform that made self-assessment fun, dynamic, and competitive.
02 / Solution
I developed 'Smart Learners', an interactive mobile application that leverages AI to instantly generate custom quizzes on any given topic. The platform incorporates gamification through a coin system, daily streaks, difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard), and a real-time leaderboard where friends can compete and track their learning progress.
03 / Technology
This cross-platform mobile application was engineered using Flutter and Dart, utilizing BLoC for state management, with Firebase integrated for real-time backend services and AI APIs for dynamic content generation.
04 / Development
The development focused heavily on user retention and real-time engagement. I designed a fluid, intuitive UI/UX and implemented a complex scoring algorithm that calculates points based on difficulty and speed. Real-time database synchronization was optimized to ensure the global leaderboard and user profiles update seamlessly without lag, while incorporating a smooth ad-monetization flow.
05 / Result
The application was successfully deployed to the Google Play Store, establishing an active, competitive community of learners. The gamified elements—like streaks and earning coins—significantly boosted daily active user engagement and retention rates.
